Delete

There are several methods for deleting specified elements from the database.

Selection

Deletes the currently selected item(s).

Current Element

Deletes the currently selected element.

Current Element Members

Deletes the members from an element.

Select a member from the list and click OK to remove the member from the current element or click Cancel to exit the window.

To delete all members of the selected element, click Delete All Members.

Confirm Deletion

When a delete option is selected, a Confirm window is displayed by default to ask you to confirm the deletion by clicking Yes or by cancelling the deletion by clicking No.

The Confirm window can be disabled by selecting the DO not ask me again to confirm this action check box. After selecting this option no further Confirm windows will be displayed for the Delete selections.

The Confirm window can be reactivated by selecting the Display delete confirmation dialogue check box.

Note:
The Confirm window can also be deactivated by deselecting the check box.
