Single Tail Pulley

Defines the distance and dimensions for a single tail pulley with a no snub pulley and the take-up at the head.

Distance

Displays a graphical representation, define the distance from charge to tail pulley and the belt transition length from the tail pulley. By default the Distance tab is selected.

L1

Specifies the distance from the centerline of the charge point to the center of the tail pulley

Z1

Specifies the belt transition (troughed to flat) length of the belt.

Zoom In/Out

Zooms in/out to these dimensions in the 3D view.

Tail Pulley

Displays a graphical representation, defines the tail pulley’s diameter, face width, wrap angle, offset A, shaft diameter and length.

Specifies the tail pulley offset A

D

Specifies the tail pulley diameter

D

Specifies the tail pulley shaft diameter

FACE WIDTH

Specifies the tail pulley face width.

SHAFT LENGTH

Specifies the tail pulley shaft length

WRAP ANGLE

Specifies the tail pulley wrap angle (the minimum is 180 degrees and the maximum is 240 degrees).
