Surface Treatment Report

Once the surface treatments have been assigned to the required Design elements, the inside and outside surface area for each component can be calculated and reported on.

When the Surface Treatment - Report window is loaded, the Current Element (CE) is set automatically. Navigating to another element within the Model Explorer. Click CE to set that as the current CE for the Surface Treatment - Report window.
Click Calculate to calculate the inside and outside surface area for each component owned by the CE and displays the results in the Selected elements grid.
Note:
The Units for Area displayed derive from the current session units for Distance, as defined in the units setting window. Refer to Units for further information.

Once you have selected items from the Selected Elements grid, right-click in the grid to display a pop-up menu which has the following options:

Add to 3D view |
Adds the selected elements to the 3D view. |

Remove selected list in Grid |
Removes the selected items from the grid. |
|
Remove all list in Grid |
Clears the grid. |

Export to Excel |
Prompts you to browse to a file location and save the grid as a Microsoft Excel file and then saves the file to the selected location. |
|
Print Preview |
Opens the standard Print preview box allowing the page setup to be defined and the grid printed. |
