Greyspace

The greyspace functionality automatically detects grey space (areas contained within the model graphical representation that are deemed available for annotation placement) on the drawing canvas for optimal positioning of annotations. Annotations positioned on grey space can be moved to the drawing canvas white space.

The example displays the detected grey space on a drawing (highlighted grey).

When the whitespace calculation is performed with a high A-GS overlap preference, there is an increased probability that annotations will be moved to the drawing canvas white space.
