Splits bounded plate bounding elements at section intersections.
Note:
If the bounded plate is selected as an element to split, it will be split as well
as the bounding elements.
You are prompted to Select element(s) to split
Note:
The prompt does not display if the bounding element is already selected.
Click to identify a bounding element to split.
You are then prompted to Select element(s) to split or <Next>
Note:
The prompt does not display if the bounding element is already selected.
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to identify multiple bounding elements to split.
Input N at the prompt and press Enter to specify the split points.
You are then prompted to Select element(s) to split with or <Plane>
Click to identify an intersecting section to define a split point.
You are then prompted to Select element(s) to split with or <Next>
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to identify multiple sections and define additional split points.
Input N at the prompt and press Enter to end the command. The bounding elements are split at the intersecting split points.
Throughout the split process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
