Zoom Options

Zoom Extents

Select from the drop-down list to display the drawing view at full size on the screen.

Zoom In

Select from the drop-down list to zoom in to a drawing.

Zoom Out

Select from the drop-down list to zoom out from a drawing.

Zoom Realtime

Select from the drop-down list, you can then click and hold the mouse wheel and drag the view in the required direction.

To zoom in to a drawing, roll the mouse wheel up.

To zoom out from a drawing, roll the mouse wheel down.

Zoom Window

Select from the drop-down list to zoom into a defined area.

You are prompted to Specify first corner

Click to identify the first corner of the zoom area.

You are then prompted to Specify opposite corner

Click to identify the opposite corner of the zoom area.

The drawing view zooms to the selected zoom area.

Zoom Dynamic

Select from the drop-down list to display an area selection box.

Move the cursor as required until the left side of the area selection box corresponds to the left side of the area to be zoomed into and click the left mouse button.

Then move the mouse left or right to define the size of the area selection box.

Click the left mouse button and move the mouse up or down to define position of the area selection box.

Press Enter to zoom to the selection box area.

Zoom Scale

Select from the drop-down list to zoom by a defined scale.

You are prompted to Enter Scale factor (nX or nXP)

Input a value at the prompt, for example, 2x to zoom in at twice the scale.

Zoom Centre

Select from the drop-down list to zoom using a specified center point.

You are prompted to Specify centre point

Click to identify the center point.

You are then prompted to Enter magnification factor or new height

Input a value at the prompt, for example, 2x to zoom in at twice the scale.

Alternatively, you can click the drawing to identify the height of the zoom area from the center point.

Zoom Object

Select from the drop-down list to zoom in to a selected object or objects.

You are prompted to Select objects

Click to identify the zoom object or objects.

Press Enter to zoom to the selected object area.
