Search

Use the Search functionality available from the Reference Browser to search for text based attributes belonging to specified Item Types.

If an Item Type is selected and search is carried out, all attributes bound to the selected Item Type are displayed in the Results pane of the Reference Browser window. If no Item Type is selected, attributes common to all the Item Types are displayed. By default only the NAME and DESC attributes are displayed.

To view a specific attribute bound to the Item Type in the Results pane of the Reference Browser window, click Attribute Search and select from the displayed list.

Note:
The search scope is defined by the root element(s) selected on the Explorer tab.

Once the search is complete the Results pane of the Reference Browser is populated with the results of the search in the following format, the two default columns (NAME and DESC) along with the additional column populated with the results of the attribute searched for.
