Backing Sheet MTO Table Entries Note

An MTO table entry note is used to represent MTO table contents which require additional administrative information.

An MTO table entry note element is named MtoTableEntries.

Note:
In order for the note to be identified as a spool drawing MTO table entry, the SpPurp attribute must be set to CELLS and the Function attribute set to MTO.

The MTO table entry note shxyposition attributes must be populated to define the top left corner of the MTO table. The values are measured from the bottom left of the backing sheet.

The frame is constructed by adding a series of lines to the MTO table entry note. Refer to Draw Lines for further information.

The text fields on the backing sheet can be added using the Pipe Spool Drawing Admin window. Refer to Pipe Spool Drawing Administration for further information.

The text elements can use a mixture of keywords or expressions that are recognized by the application. For example:

Matpos

Qty

Cut Length of component.

!!pipespoolcalcexpr('spool','QTY')

unit

The units can be customized.

The TEXP, which is used to represent units on the backing sheet, can contain special ETEXT.

The value of ETEXT in the TEXP can consist of:

"<distanceUnit>-DIST/<quantityUnit>-QTY".

If <distanceUnit> is "UNIT" or the value of ETEXT is unset, a distance unit comes from current distance unit (!!distanceFMT).

If you assign these values, the drawing uses the units as shown:

bore

!!pipespoolcalcexpr('spool','BORE')

desc

spool.dtxr

ac

Finished Length for component.

When the length is preceded by a '*', the pipe has a miter or a thread.

!!pipespoolcalcexpr('spool','AC')

matrno

spool.catref.namn

Note:
When using expressions, the keyword used is not important. The keyword must be easily recognizable.

An invisible rectangle is added to the MTO table entry note to create a reserved area on the drawing canvas. The rectangle Ocode attribute must be set to TopLeft. Refer to Draw Rectangles and Diamonds for further information.

The creation of lines and text elements follow a very strict convention.

Note:
The FirstLine and LastLine elements are not at the same position.
The direction of ColumnLine1 defines the direction of the rows.

Make sure that the elements are correctly named and are in the correct order in the Draw Explorer.

The MTO table entries display on the drawing canvas.

The new STRA, TEXP and RECT elements display in the Draw Explorer.

The final step is to deselect the Lvisibility attribute check box for the table entry note element, the elements become hidden from view.
