Use the Association Manager to view all the associations that have been created using the Equipment Associations utility.

Use the Association Filter part of the Association Manager window to filter the associations, select from the Show drop-down list to filter the display.

All Associations |
Displays all associations. |

Current Element |
Displays associations for the current element. |
|
Selected Purpose |
Filters the display by selected purpose. Select from the Purpose drop-down list to filter the display further. |
|
Failed |
Displays all Associations that are identified as Failed. Failed Associations display a caution box and a red background. |
|
Invalid |
Displays all Associations that are identified as Invalid. Invalid Associations display a caution box and a red background. |

Contain Invalid References |
Displays all Associations that are identified as Invalid References. Invalid Reference Associations display a caution box and a red background. |
Click
to refresh the Association Manager window.
The Associations part of the Association Manager window displays the:

Association
-
A description of the association
-
The purpose of the association (PURP attribute)
-
The Status of the association, for example, Passed or Failed
-
The two associated item names
To group the entries according to a particular column, drag the column header to the indicated location.
Right-click a selection to display a pop-up menu.

View Association Elements |
Displays a new view showing only the associated items. |

Navigate To |
Navigates to the Association, the First Associated Element or the Second Associated Element in the Model Explorer. |

Delete Association |
Deletes the selected association. |

Export to Excel |
Opens the Save Association Data As window, use the window to export the association to Excel. Enter a name and select a destination folder and click Save. |
|
Print Preview |
Displays the Print Preview window. |
The Restrictions part of the Association Manager window displays the restrictions that make up the association and the status of the restriction.
Note:
Most associations are made up of one restriction but a few are made up of a number
of restrictions any of which can lead to the failure of the association.
Right-click a selection to display a pop-up menu navigate to the Association, the First Associated Element or the Second Associated Element in the Model Explorer.
The Association Detail part of the Association Manager window displays details of the association.
Right-click a selection to display a pop-up menu to navigate to Target, Export to Excel or Print Preview.
Click Cancel to close the Association Manager window.
