Branch Dressing

Use the functionality to bulk-dress cableway branches, set a specification and dress the cableway branch(es).
Note:
The preliminary and final material dressing are carried out at the same time, to dress
preliminary first, use the functionality available from the Modify Material window.
Dependent upon the currently selected element in the Model Explorer determines which elements populate (displaying the name of the branch element, specifications and an indication if the element is dressed).
Select
Select at which level in the cabling hierarchy, the elements are to be dressed.

Current Branch |
Automatically populates the grid with the currently selected branch. |

Current Cableway |
Automatically populates the grid with all the branches below the cableway element. |
|
Current Zone |
Automatically populates the grid with all the branches below the zone element. |
|
Current Site |
Automatically populates the grid with all the branches below the site loaded. |
Use the functionality to set the first, intermediate and last gaps, default is 0 unless previously specified.
Note:
Gap values cannot be applied to circular cableway branches, always 0.
Specification
Use to select the specification for the branch element, then select Set Selected Cableway Branches to Specification to set the selected specification. All selected cableway branches will have the same material specification applied through branches, cableways, zones or sites.
Use to create tee, cross and reducer cable tray elements when dressing the cableway branches with material (checkbox is selected by default.
Dimensions
Defines how the cableway branch dimensions are set.

Where the dimensions reflect those set on the CTMTRL element, which in turn unless manually modified come from the cableway branch dimensions. |

Based on branch |
Where the dimensions are based on branch fill levels which takes into account branch levels. |
The order in which the cableway branches are selected determines the order in which they are dressed.
Note:
If the same order of cableway branches are selected and the dimensions are on branch
fill levels, an incorrect dressing depending on the fill levels of the cables may
occur.
Right-click Menu
Use the functionality from the right-click menu to select all cableway branches, remove dressing from selected branches, export data to excel or create a print preview.
