Property Grids

Properties on all model elements are defined in attributes and can be viewed in the attribute panel and changed using commands in the Command window. The complete set of attributes are presented in the Attribute panel; however, they are not presented in a very user-friendly way. Furthermore, changing properties using commands may be cumbersome and can lead to incorrect model elements in case wrong values are given. In the normal user case, the Property Grid panel should be used to modify and view properties. The Property Grid presents relevant property information in a format that is suitable to view and possibly change. Information is presented with enumerations in drop-down lists and validation checks is done on inserted data.
