Add Selection to Drawlist

Collects elements for the drawlist or a collection.

Selection

Input a value in the field to define the elements to be considered for selection. For example, input ALL to consider all elements or TYPE EQUI to consider equipment elements for selection.

with Rule

Input a valid PML expression to define the selection rule. For example, input TEMP GT 100 to consider elements that have a temperature attribute specified as greater than 100 for selection.

for Element

Select the option button to consider all elements for selection below a defined element. The element can be defined from the Current DB or All DBs using the drop-down list.

from List

Select the option button to consider elements for selection from an available drawlist using the drop-down list.

within 3D Volume

Select the check box to consider elements for selection within a defined volume.

Input dimensional values in the directional fields to define the coordinates of two opposing corners of the defined volume. The direction can be defined in East, West, North, South, Up and Down directions using the drop-down lists.

wholly in Volume

Select the check box to consider elements for selection that are wholly positioned within a defined volume.

Input dimensional values in the directional fields to define the coordinates of two opposing corners of the defined volume. The direction can be defined in East, West, North, South, Up and Down directions using the drop-down lists.

Use 3D Cursor

Click to consider elements for selection within a defined volume using a cursor pick in the 3D view.

Use DRAFT View Limits

Click to consider elements for selection in the currently selected view.

Click Apply to collect elements for the drawlist or Dismiss to discard any changes and close the Add to List window. You are returned to the Lists/Collections window.
