Selection Tables

Selection Tables are used for selecting Component Parts in the design model. They provide the following methods of selection:

1. Selection Criteria can be used to offer you a choice of Parts based on the current design context (for example, captain or crew cabin, inside or outside hull)

2. Attributes Filters can be used to allow you to search the selection table for Parts with matching attributes.

3. A combination of 1 and 2 can be used.

   Note:
   It will also be possible to use attribute filters to select Parts directly from the Catalog without using selection tables at all, however the use of selection tables is recommended where only a subset of the whole Part Catalog should be used on a particular project.
