Create Work Area

Creates a work area database element.

A work area element represents a portion of the 3D model considered to be a logical area of work and can own a number of work pack elements.

Use the Create Work Area window to name and define the general attributes of the work area.

Name/Autoname

Select Name from the drop-down list to input the name of the work area element or select Autoname to use the autonaming rules.

Attributes

Displays the Attributes window, general attribute values can be defined.

The new CWAREA element displays in the Model Explorer and the Modify Work Area window displays.
