Default Project Configuration File Location

The rules are stored in a project configuration file, a default project configuration file is installed with the Integrator in the AVEVA E3D Design folder. In order to use it on a project, it must be copied to the Project Defaults Model Management folder. For example on the APS project it would be:

%APSDFLTS%\ModelManagement\ProjectConfiguration.xml

Note:
Save to this file to make any changes available to the project, as end users always access this default configuration file. Administrators can work with any filename, since any project configuration file opened in the Configuration Explorer becomes their current file. Thus it can be tested using a different file and save to default filename when ready to deploy the changes.

Note:
The administrator’s current file is remembered across sessions.
