Sets the definitions for classifications which are used to aid in the creation of templates, A classification is a collection of objects gathered according to a defined criterion.

Input a name for the classification in the Name field and a description in the Description field.

Input the required criteria in the Criteria field. To modify/replace or remove a criteria select the desired criteria from the Criteria List. The criteria may be of two different types.

Select the required Criteria Type which determines the check on input criteria but depends on the type:

Rule

To add (or remove) a certain type of element with an attribute of a specified value (if required). Examples:

ALL PIPE

ALL PIPE WITH PSPEC EQ A1A

Note:
Always use a qualifying element with the All statement. Otherwise the time taken to evaluate the expression is excessive. An expression such as ALL WITH (PURP EQ ‘ANY’) is not recommended.

Element

To add (or remove) an element from the Model database (the name is normally used, but the reference number can be used). The item may be added manually. Navigate to the relevant item in the members list and click CE to the right of the Criteria field

Select the Type of rule from the drop-down list, either Add or Remove.

Select the Action required from the drop-down list.

Add Criteria

Adds an extra criterion to the Criteria List.

Replace Criteria

Replaces an existing criterion.

Note:
Make sure the correct one is selected.

Remove Criteria

Removes a criterion from the list.

Note:
Make sure the correct one is selected
