Create Clipping Box from Defined Volume

Creates a clipping box with an explicitly defined origin and dimensions.
You are prompted to Specify the origin or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the clipping box origin position.
You are then prompted to Specify the X length
Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the X length of the clipping box.
You are then prompted to Specify the Y length
Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the Y length of the clipping box.
You are then prompted to Specify the Z length
Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the Z length of the clipping box.
The clipping box is created and the command ends automatically.
Throughout the clipping box creation process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Two points |
Press the down arrow key and select Two points to create a clipping box from two selected points. You are prompted to Specify the first corner or Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the clipping box first corner position. You are then prompted to Specify the opposite corner Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the clipping box opposite corner position. The clipping box is created and the command ends automatically. |

Three points |
Press the down arrow key and select Three points to create a clipping box from three selected points. Press the down arrow key and select Lcs to create a clipping box using the local coordinate system as the origin. A box is displayed that originates at the local coordinate system origin which contains all visible elements in the X and Y directions. You are prompted to Specify the initial width or Input a dimensional value in the field and press Enter or click to identify the width of the clipping box in the Z direction. The clipping box is created and the command ends automatically. |
