Applies a keyplan using the overlay sheet method. The overlay contains a view of the complete 3D model with grid lines and important design items to give the correct impression of the overall plant layout. You must size the overlay so that it fits in the designated area on the template sheet and is overlaid onto the completed drawing when the keyplan task is run.
You must be at or below the keyplan overlay sheet (OVER) before proceeding. If you are not then a warning appears indicating that you are at the wrong place in the hierarchy. The utility creates one layer for each of the areas existing in the area library.
An overlay sheet with area based hatching layers to represent the keyplan is used.
To apply the overlay sheet method:
On the ABA Template View window, add the user task /*Keyplan_View to the Selected list. Refer to Create and Modify ABA Template View for further information.
Select /*Keyplan_View in the Selected list and click Modify Task to display the /*Keyplan_View window.

The /*Keyplan_View window allows you to modify the Keyplan position and scale options.
Select a Keyplan from the drop-down list.
Input values in the Position X and Y fields to specify the location of the bottom left corner of the Overlay sheet to fit onto the drawing template.
Input a value for the angle in the Angle field.
Input a value for the scale in the Scale X and Y fields.
Click Apply to modify the Keyplan View settings or Cancel to discard any changes and close the /*Keyplan_View window.
