DXF-Export using the GUI

Use the DXF-Export window to extract 3D geometric models from Design databases and output them to a Drawing Interchange File (DXF or binary DXF).

Add elements to the Element List by selecting CE, CE MEM, Drawlist, Selection or Current List.

Adds the contents of the current Drawlist. |

Adds the elements selected in the 3D View. |

Adds the elements from the Current List. |
To remove elements from the Element List, click Clear All to remove all the elements in the current list, or by selecting elements in the list and clicking Clear Selection to remove the selected elements.
If required, the output format can be chosen to use by selecting either the Binary or Text radio button. Binary is more compact, and is the default.
Input a filename for the Output file into the text field or click Browse to open a Select File dialogue window then navigate to a destination folder and name the Output file.
Click OK to export the chosen elements or Cancel to dismiss the window without exporting the elements.
