Hierarchy

As with all AVEVA E3D Design applications, the database hierarchy and its elements must be created in a strict order, however unlike the other AVEVA E3D Design applications, both the Concrete Building Design and the Room Manager applications use soft type elements. for further information on soft type elements, refer to Specific Hierarchy.

Soft type elements are used for building representation rather than for other types of structural design. These elements have the same attributes as the standard (hard type) elements, but which have different names to identify their functions. for further information on the hard and soft types of elements.
