Sets the bracing for the currently selected framework support.

The bracing support name displays at the top of the Bracing window.
The Options part of the Bracing window allows you to define the bracing type, size and style.

CE |
Click to select existing bracing as the current element The option becomes active when bracing has been created. |

Pick |
Click to select existing bracing using a cursor pick in the 3D view. The option becomes active when bracing has been created. You are prompted to Identify brace member to be modified |

|
New Brace |
Click to create new bracing. The option becomes active when bracing has been created. |
|
|
Mirror Brace |
Click to mirror the bracing on its axis. The option becomes active when bracing has been created. |
|
|
Nudge Brace |
Allows you to nudge the bracing by a set distance. Refer to Nudge Bracing for further information. The option becomes active when bracing has been created. |
|
|
Allows you to delete the currently selected bracing. A confirm window displays asking you to OK the deletion. Click Yes to delete the item. |

|
Type |
Select a bracing type from the drop-down list. |
|
|
Size |
Select a bracing size from the drop-down list. |
|
|
|
Outside Frame |
Click to select outside frame as the current bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |

Inside Frame |
Click to select inside frame as the current bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
|
|
Infront Frame |
Click to select infront frame as the current bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
|
|
Behind Frame |
Click to select behind frame as the currently selected bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
|
|
Under Cantilever |
Click to select under cantilever as the currently selected bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
|
|
Infront Cantilever |
Click to select infront cantilever as the currently selected bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
|
|
Behind Cantilever |
Click to select behind cantilever as the currently selected bracing style. All other support types are deactivated. |
The Dimensions part of the Bracing window allows you to define the bracing dimensions, angle and offset.

Dim ‘L’ |
The field is populated by default, you can modify the dimension value to define the length of the bracing. Select the L option button to lock the Dim ‘L’ dimension. |

Dim ‘H’ |
The field is populated by default, you can modify the dimension value to define the height of the bracing. Select the H option button to lock the Dim ‘H’ dimension. |
|
Angle |
The field is populated by default, you can modify the angle value to define the bracing angle. Select the A option button to lock the angle. |
|
Offset |
The field is populated by default, you can modify the dimension value to define a bracing offset distance. |
The bottom of the Bracing window allows you to view an illustration of the bracing and define the graphical display settings for the bracing dimensions.

View Standard |
Click to display the View Multi Discipline Standard window. The functionality of the View Multi Discipline Standard window is explained. Refer to View Multi Discipline Support Standard for further information. |

Show/hide Dimensions |
Click to display the bracing dimensions in the 3D view. |
Click Apply to create the bracing, you must identify the associated framework support section using a cursor pick in the 3D view.
You are prompted to Identify frame member to be braced
You must then identify the associated supporting section using a cursor pick in the 3D view.
You are prompted to Identify supporting member
Click Cancel to close the Bracing window.
By default, a connection is made between the framework support bracing section (GENSEC) and the structural support section (GENSEC). Refer to Supports Connectivity for further information.
