Import Design From Excel Options

To import a conveyor profile from Excel, click Import from Excel and browse to, and load, the required conveyor profile. The content is displayed in the grid. The grid must be in this format:

The Offset column refers to horizontal offset and must be greater than, or equal to, zero. Values in this column are relative to each other. An increase in value indicates a curve to the right, as viewed along the conveyor from the charge point. For a curve to the left, begin with a value large enough to accommodate the required reduction.

The Radius column is for vertical inflections and the Horz. Radius column is for horizontal inflections. Horz, Horiz, and Horizontal are all valid column titles.

Note: Curves in two planes are not currently supported. Curves must be either vertical or horizontal.

You cannot edit the grid within the product, but you can export its content to Excel, edit it there, and then reimport it. It is anticipated that this method of loading will be used with data generated from third party conveyor design systems rather than manually created content.
