Import Upgrade

The Import Upgrade add-in provides you with a backward compatibility option for IFC models. Import Upgrade is an add-in that helps update models by transferring GENPRIs, DDSEs, and DDATs from legacy elements (EQUI, VOLM, STRU, SUBEs and SVOLM) created with the IFC old model to new SUBEs in AVEVA E3D Design™, which represent complete IFC parts.

Configuration

Use the functionality available from the Import Upgrade window to upgrade an old IFC model.

From the Interface tab in the Import group, select IFC then from the drop down list, select Upgrade, the Import Upgrade window is displayed.
