Set Up the Windows Environment

Setting up the Windows Environment section describes how to configure the Windows operating system before running AVEVA E3D Design. Following the installation of AVEVA E3D Design, you should perform the following steps:

• Check the settings for the graphics board: Refer to Requirements for further information.

• Make sure the AVEVA Connect LaaS licensing is setup and running, refer to AVEVA Connect Licensing for further information.

• Configure Windows parameters for AVEVA E3D Design: Refer to Environment Variables.

• You can then run AVEVA E3D Design by clicking on the AVEVA E3D Design shortcut or icon, which will set up the remaining environment variables required.
