The AVEVA Graphical Changes Service (GCS) calls the E3D Gateway, which reads graphical primitives from the database. The primitives are stored in a cache and written back to a separate folder in the project directory.

GCS requires an AVEVA E3D Design install (refer to Version Compatibility for further information) and these can be configured on separate machines. AVEVA E3D Design clients can then load the cache from separate machines if the cache is available.
