Limited release: This a limited release of XR. It does not contain all of the features and tools that are described in this documentation.
New features
These features are new or changed in the AVEVA XR 4.0.13 release.
XR Studio Graphic Context improvements

Added support for basic UV mapping for meshes. Now, it's possible to provision a UV mapping to content coming from CAD and apply textured materials on them.

Updated scene navigation. Now features more user settings and different interaction styles.

Added a contextual menu in viewport on selected item.
XR Bridge support for OPC-UA
A new channel has been provisioned to the XR Bridge to allow it to exchange realtime data with OPC-UA servers. The new channel offers a safe way to store connection username and password.
New nodes

CloudStorage - Persists user data to the cloud.

ConnectClient - Invokes AVEVA Connect login when not starting with LAAS licensing.

LogManager - Grants read and write access to log lines.

Spout - Sends and receives SPOUT image streams.

Template updates

XR Engage template - Formerly the Design Review template, the XR Engage template is released as a stand-alone product. A full XR Engage user manual can be downloaded from the AVEVA Support site.
Deprecated and Discontinued
Deprecated features
Functionality is marked as deprecated when a specific function or feature is still supported in the current release, but might be removed in a future release. We advise that you phase these features out of your projects and begin to use alternative features.

setfield and setlocal attributes in Command node and statements.

Legacy 2D nodes - These legacy nodes are kept because they appear inside some old module scripts.

Camera cave fields - Cave visualization management should be now done through the newly introduced Viewport node.
Discontinued features
These features are no longer supported and no longer appear in XR software.
