Script templates

Templates are useful tools for scripting. They offer two main features:

• Templates save many lines of repetitive script; therefore making script more compact and readable.

• Templates enable you to create libraries of reusable code, over time, to add to projects.

Whenever you must repeat the same definitions and relations patterns many times for different objects, you should think about creating a template.

Templates ease instance maintenance compared to repeated cutting and pasting with plain script. Modifying the template definition is easier than searching the code for each copied code block.
