Add Multiple Nodes

  • Last UpdatedJun 19, 2025
  • 2 minute read

You can create multiple instances of a node. Provide a common prefix and a comma-separated list of subnames.

  • Each instance of the name is formed by the prefix plus a subname.

  • The Browse (…) button enables you to define subnames by selecting from existing item nodes.

  • If a subname corresponds to an item name, the corresponding created instance is placed in the same position as the corresponding item. This is useful for trend or sound placing, because you can create them in a single step. Then adjust the position and orientation.

Add multiple nodes

  1. Click the Add button on the Nodes Explorer.

  2. On the Select Content to Add dialog, select a node template.

  3. Next to Name, enter the node prefix and optional parameters, such as particles emitters number.

  4. Next to Multiple, select a quantity from the dropdown or populate the multiple names list by hand or use the Browse (…) item selection functionality. The node name will use the Name as prefix and one of the listed Multiple Names as suffix.

    For example: Name=button MultipleName=1,2,3 will create three nodes: button1, button2, and button3.

  5. Click Add or Add & Close.
