Use the 2D Resize mode in the 3D view to resize selected 2D content in the scene.
Enable the Resize mode
By default, the 2D Resize mode will be in disabled state.
Select any 2D element to enable Resize mode.

Resizing behavior
-
It is possible to resize a 2D node by dragging one of its edges or corners with the mouse pointer.
-
When a 2D node is selected for resizing, moving the mouse pointer over any edge or corner of the element:
-
The cursor icon changes according to the direction the resize will be applied.
-
The hovered edge or corner is highlighted by applying the selected highlight color from the Graphic Editor settings for better visual feedback.
-
-
Dragging the highlighted edge or corner will resize the selected element accordingly, based on the direction and input modifiers (such as Ctrl, Shift).

Resizing with special keys
Note: Ctrl and Shift can be used together.
Ctrl key behaviour (symmetrical resize)
When the Ctrl key is held down while dragging any edge or corner of a 2D element, the element is resized symmetrically:
-
The size increases or decreases on both sides of the dragged edge.
-
The center of the element remains fixed, and resizing occurs outward or inward from that center point.
Shift key behaviour (resize keeping aspect ratio)
When Shift key is held down while dragging any edge or corner of a 2D element, the element is resized by keeping its aspect ratio:
-
The element is resized proportionally and keeps its original aspect ratio. This only works when dragging a corner.
Limitations
Resize mode is not supported for the following:
-
3D objects.
-
Multiple 2D element selection
-
Annotation based elements
-
Legacy Rect nodes
