Structure of the Item Template folder

Template location

The instantiable item templates root is located in the XRStudio\bin\template\item\ folder.

It's possible to organize the root into separated folders and subfolders if needed.

Each Item template requires a dedicated folder with standardized content.

Folder structure

These are the items that can be found in an item template folder.

• Item Template description file: This item is mandatory and must be named template.xml.

• Item Template Image: This item is mandatory and must be a 256x128 PNG image.

• Data folders: These are optional folders designed to include raw data to include in the project that will use the template. Folders may contain models, textures, sounds, and other data.
