The Ladder node helps an avatar to climb up and down the physical ladders present in the plant.
-
The top and bottom areas represent the proximity area for the avatar to recognize the presence of the ladder. They are 1x1 meter squares. Their vertical position corresponds to the ground and the height of the level the ladder.
-
The missing triangle represents the climbing direction. The avatar will climb standing in the missing triangle facing the center of the square.
-
The vertical line can be used to perfectly align to physical ladders and should be at the center of them.
This image represents the debug object of the Ladder. We can take advantage of its debug visualization to understand how it works.
