A sensor can detect whether a camera or avatar has entered a predefined area.
Guidelines
Some items to consider when creating and positioning sensors.
-
Give the position sensor a name that is directly connected to the item in the plant area. For example, T801 ® SENSOR_T801.
-
You can reduce positioning effort by moving to the location before creating sensors. Position sensors are automatically created in front of the camera position. Otherwise copy and paste the position of the item they belong to.
-
There are three types of sensor geometries selectable with the type field: Cube, Cylinder, Sphere. Use the one that best fits the sensor needs. Usually cylinder and cube are better for avatar interaction.
-
Set mode to Camera to have the position sensor work with the avatar camera. Use Option mode only when there is need to activate something when the avatar body enters a zone.
