A Liquid Level is the 3D visualization of the liquid contained inside a tank or drum. It is made of two parts: the liquid level part and the container part.

Modelling conventions

To support ItemLiquidLevel mode, model the liquidlevel_XXX mesh according the following rules:

  • The mesh must be made of slices. Approximately between 6 and 12 slices is reasonable.

  • Each slice represents a mesh perimeter and all slice points must have exactly the same elevation (Y in engine coordinates).

  • All slices must have the same number of points.

  • Only the top and bottom slice can have more points. These points must be inside the slice perimeter.
