Customize the Avatar-Simulazione and Its PPE

The avatar-simulazione already has its clothing. They are part base avatar.

  • It has only those PPE/DPI items that are linked to the base avatar skin. This displays as equipped during the simulation.

  • The PPE/DPIs should be less detailed counterparts of the DPIs present in the vestizione module.

    Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

    By convention, both clothes and equipment are called PPE (or DPI). This difference determines some constraints on the avatar equipment customization process.

    Starts without any clothes or equipment.

    Has full access to all available PPE.

    avatar-simulazione

    Starts with its clothes already.

    Has access to a subgroup of the equipment PPE.

Tasks

The typical tasks here are adapting the base avatar clothing and customizing the clothing and equipment textures to support client color schema and logos.

The updated avatar-simulazione (avatar_def.mwx) must be exported to gamedata/models/simulazione/avatar.

The textures must be exported to gamedata/textures/simulazione.

Note: Adding a new item of equipment is a more complex task that involves graphical work and also updating the vestizione, simulazione, and commons logical modules. Coordinate this activity with the development team.
