AVEVA™ XR Studio supports AVEVA™ Licensing System (ALS), both on premises and on cloud (LAAS). The formerly used MWPL licensing system is currently supported only for retro-compatibility reasons and may be discontinued in future releases.
How to get a license
You must request a license from AVEVA Portfolio/Support.
How to install an ALS license
For ALS system setup and license installation, please refer to AVEVA Licensing System documentation.
How to get a LAAS license
An LaaS license must be requested with your company’s AVEVA™ Connect account to your AVEVA License Administrator. Before you can use an LaaS license, you must be a Connect user in your company’s AVEVA Connect account.
How to install an MWPL license
-
Place the license.mwpl file into the location where AVEVA™ XR has been installed.
For example: C:/AVEVA/XR/4.0/XRStudio/bin
