Add Instance Templates

This section describes how to manage the creation of item templates.

Instance Templates

Instance templates are a convenient way to itemize content creation. They provide the ability to instantiate frequent items multiple times in a simple and reliable way.

Some notes

• Mwx files need special handling to allow the user to create multiple instances.

• Due to XR Studio security requirements, the user needs to have Administrator privileges to be able to drop a new Instance Template in the relevant folder.

Using Instance Templates

After an instance template is created, it becomes immediately available in the Create Item From Template dialog for every project.
