The FollowersVec3 command implements a svec3 follower. A follower is a node that generates values trying to approximate a destValue.

The usageFollowersVec3 can be:

  • Static

  • Following a static destValue

  • Dynamic following a variable destValue

Note: Unlike FollowersFloat, this node does not support delay interpolation.

Platform support

This node is fully supported on XR-Windows, XR-Portable Windows, XR-Portable iOS, XR-Portable Android, and XR-Portable WASM platforms.

Position

The FollowersVec3 node must be inside a context node, such as Context or Global.

FollowersVec3 fields

These are the fields for FollowersVec3 node. Only the node-specific fields are indicated, not fields obtained by inheritance.

Field inheritance: NodeBase > FollowersVec3

Fields

Type

Use

Default value

Description

active

sbool

Optional

true

Activates or deactivates the node instance.

currentValue

svec3

Read only

Not set

The follower output value.

destValue

svec3

Optional

Not set

The destination value. Can be set statically or dynamically.

startValue

svec3

Optional

Not set

The value from which the follower begins to follow the destValue.

time

sfloat

Optional

1

Defines the time in which the linear interpolation reaches destValue. Used in linear mode.

type

sstring

Optional

Linear

Defines the mode as:

  • Linear for linear interpolation

  • Exp for exponential

When the mode is Exp, you must pass some parameters in the string. This behavior is supported only by this node and few others.
