Apply post-process effects to 3D scene

On the Effects tab, you can select and manage a set of post-process effects to be applied to the 3D visualization.

  • Post process effects are processed at the end of the rendering and applied sequentially.

  • The visual result may depend on the order of the post processes in the list.

  • There is a large set of available post-processes.

Post-process effects settings file

The engine can load a different post process setup at runtime. Every application type has one or several default post-process settings that can be edited separately.

Load a saved post process settings file

  • Select the file to load from the drop-down list.

    When loaded, the post process settings are immediately applied to the 3D runtime.

Save a post process setup over existing file

  1. Modify the visual effect parameters to reach the desired result.

  2. Click the Save button. This will overwrite previous settings.

Save a post process setup as new file

  1. Modify the visual effect parameters to reach the desired result.

  2. Click the Save As button. This will create a new file.

    Managing post-process list

    You can add or remove post-processes from the list.

    Add a post process

    1. Click Add Effect.

    2. Select an effect type and give this instance a reference name . You can add the same effect more than one time.

    3. Click OK.

      Remove a post process

      1. Select the effect from the list.

      2. Click the Delete button.

        Change the post-process list order

        1. Select a post process effect.

        2. Click Up or Down to change the processing order.

          Edit the properties on an effect

          1. Click the small white arrow to expand the properties section.

          2. Modify the values as needed.
