Gamepad Inputs

Users can always use the gamepad to navigate the scene, regardless of the currently selected navigation.

Function

Gamepad Input

Movement

Move on x-z axis

Left thumbstick

Moves the camera on the X-Z plane at configured pan speed.

Move on y axis

Cross Up

Moves the camera on the local up axis at configured pan speed.

 

Cross Down

Moves the camera on the local down axis at configured pan speed.

Turn camera

Right thumbstick

Turns camera at configured rotation speed. Depending on Orbit Target button state and Fly mode button state, the rotation center can be:

  • The current dynamic rotation target

    • Orbit Target button is not selected

    • Fly mode button is not selected

  • The current mouse pick point

    • Orbit Target button is selected

    • Fly mode button is not selected

  • Camera position (rotating around itself)

    • Orbit Target button is any state

    • Fly mode button is selected

Align To World Axis

Cross Right

Aligns the view yaw to the world axis to the right of the current posture. It takes into account current dynamic rotation target if navigation is currently using that target, otherwise the rotation is performed around the camera position.

 

Cross Left

Aligns the view yaw to the world axis to the left of the current posture. It takes into account current dynamic rotation target if navigation is currently using that target, otherwise the rotation is performed around the camera position.

Move fast

Left Shoulder Button

While kept hold the configured pan sprint speed multiplier is applied to all movements that use pan speed.
