The uninstaller removes the XR Studio or add-on content files from the system.

You can execute the uninstaller program from Windows Control Panel, Windows Settings, Windows Start Menu shortcuts, or use the Uninstaller.exe executable.

Windows Control Panel

XR Studio and add-ons content can be uninstalled by selecting the proper entries in the Control Panel Programs and Features tool.

Windows Settings

XR Studio and add-on content can be uninstalled through the Windows Settings > Installed Apps interface.

Windows Start menu shortcuts

XR Studio and add-ons contents can be uninstalled by running the Uninstaller program from the Windows Start menu shortcut.

Default uninstaller location

The uninstallers location is $PickedDrive/AVEVA/XR/Bundle/Uninstallers where $PickedDrive is the drive selected when installing. The uninstaller executable for XR Studio or an add-on content is located in a subfolder corresponding to the XR Studio distribution or add-on content to be uninstalled.

You can also execute the uninstaller tool by running Uninstaller.exe.

Uninstall AVEVA XR products

Follow these instructions to uninstall AVEVA™ XR products.

  1. Use your preferred method to execute the uninstaller program. A confirmation message will appear.

  2. Click OK to continue.

  3. Click OK.
