FGI Probe

An FGI probe can calculate lighting in the FGI rendering pipeline.

To create an FGI probe

  1. Create an FgiProbe node and place it in the middle of the plant.

Ensure that the gray sphere does not overlap other geometries.

  2. Set the radius large enough for the green wireframe sphere to encompass the entire plant.

  3. Select the checkbox to activate mainProbe. A scene must include a single probe marked as mainprobe. There can be 1 to N probes in a scene, but there must always be a main.

To use the FGI pipeline

  • In the MWPLConfigurator.exe, set the Graphics\renderSetupFilePath option to FGI instead of default.
