Undo and Redo in 3D View

  • Last UpdatedSep 04, 2024
  • 1 minute read

The Graphic Context Editor has a undo and redo system that is based on a history.

The history includes all modifications made to node fields, both in the Field editor, or directly in the 3D view.

Perform undo

  1. Set focus to the 3D area.

  2. Press Ctrl + Z until all needed actions have been undone.

Perform redo

  1. Set focus to the 3D area.

  2. Press Ctrl + Y until all needed undone actions have been restored.

Note: The Redo list is cleared when performing a new field setting.

    Limits

The undo-redo system has some limits:

    • The history applies only to field modifications and not to node additions and deletions. This means that adding or removing of nodes cannot be undone or redone.

    • The Undo and Redo shortcuts work only when the focus is on the 3D area.

    • The history is cleared after doing a Reload GC.
