The tasks of a scenario appear as a tree.
Tree hierarchy
The hierarchy is used for two main purposes:
-
Grouping tasks to make the task management easier.
-
Provides a visual representation of the tasks inside the Task Viewer. The task tree hierarchy reflects exactly the hierarchy of that component.
Task Tree operations
You can access all task tree operations with the context menu, or by dragging and dropping the nodes.
Double-click a task to open it in the Edit tasks in Scenario Editor area.
Task Manager nodes
-
At the root, there is the task manager node whose name corresponds to the scenario file name.
-
The task manager has a child node called mission that automatically starts when starting the task manager.
Task nodes
-
For each task, there is a task unique identifier and a brief description.
-
All the scenario task nodes should be created as a child of the mission node.
-
A node created as child of another one is not automatically started by its parent unless expressively configured.
-
The task tree hierarchy does not create any task transition.

Search bar
There is a dynamic Search bar above the tree hierarchy to help you find items in the hierarchy. The tree hierarchy dynamically updates according to text you have entered in the Search box. Click Clear to clear the Search bar.
