User actions

User actions are a powerful way to give players new interaction capabilities with the default items.

Developers can easily extend the set of actions of an item.

Example uses for user actions

• Item data sheet visualization

• Item maintenance activities

Creating user actions

Create, delete, or modify one or more user actions

• Set the value of the userActions parameter of an item with the Graphic Context Editor of the XR Studio.

  After you specify the value, new parameters belonging the user action are automatically created and added to the item node.
