Filtering in Node Table

There are some different ways to implement useful filters, including using the column filters and using the auto filter row.

Use the Filter Editor

  1. Right-click a column and select Filter Editor from the context menu.

The Filter Editor dialog displays, which enables you to define complex filtering rules that are made of one or more conditions.

Set up a column filter

You can set up filters on columns.

  1. Press the Filter button in the top right area of the desired column header. A set of predefined options including the column contents plus All and Custom displays.

  2. Select a filtering option.

If you select Custom, a Custom AutoFilter panel displays, which enables you to create complex rules.

    Apply auto filter row

    • Right-click a column and select Show Auto Filter Row from the context menu. A new blank row displays above the other rows just under the column headers.

You can use these blank cells to automatically filter the content of the table on text matching basis.

    Screen example

For example, if you insert "cam" in the Auto Filter Row cell, only those node instances whose file name starts with "cam" are shown.
