Personal Protection Equipment

You can add PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) or DPI items to the avatar.

Define them in the cfg_commons file under the commons.dpi.items by specifying their initialState.

Items with an initialState set to true are included in the simulation when it starts.

Items that refer to dress are ignored by the system.

Common PPE/DPI items
The following table gives some information about each DPI. All the other elements listed in the commons.dpi.items are not supported for virtual plant applications.

Explanation of Common DPI items table headings

Item: The item name.

On Avatar: The define ID modifies avatar aspect both when activated or not.

In Menu: If an item is In Menu, it can be activated/deactivated (equipped/unequipped).

Instrument: Indicates whether there is a 2D visualization of the avatar displaying some measured value.

Notes: Comments about the item constraints.
