Task Info section

The Task Info area of the task editing area contains the task definition (Name, Reference, and Parent).

Name and Reference

The Name and Reference values were set when creating the task. However, you can modify them.

Edit the Name and Reference

1. Select the Edit button. The Task Name Edit dialog appears.

   

2. Edit the task name and reference.

3. Select OK.

   Note: Use caution when renaming tasks. Changing the task name and reference automatically updates all the links in the start tasks, or end tasks of other tasks, but does not modify end conditions or commands where the previous name of task is referenced.
