Add nodes in Shader Editor

Start creating a shader by adding nodes.
Note: The terminal node of each shader must be a shader node.
Add a node to a shader

Right-click an empty space in the Shader Editor and select Add New Node. A dialog appears that lists every possible node.

On the Create New Shader Node dialog, select the required node type and then select the Add button.

The new shader appears in the Node View and when selected the properties appear in the Node Properties panel.
