Naming a Level Display Item
The Level Display is an analog linear indicator like a thermometer.

In this type of gauge, the quadrant face of the gauge must be multi-material with a dummy texture called leveldisplay_default.tga.

The engine generates the dummy texture at runtime.

The dummy texture displays the text, gauge ticks, and animates the bar.

Building the item

Create the mesh of the leveldisplay.

Assign the texture leveldisplay_default.tga to the polygon used as level indicator.

The mesh that flashes when the item is selected is the body mesh: leveldisplay_xxx.
