The EYESIM framework has the capability to use external avatars instead of the default provided ones.
-
These avatars must comply with the EYESIM Avatar creation rules and methodologies.
-
External avatars can be used for field operators and non-playing characters (NPCs).
-
There is no way to mix the setup. The avatars and NPCs are all custom or all default.
Creating Custom Avatars
Impact of custom avatars
Using custom avatars affects the EYESIM framework.
These are the impacted items:
-
The simsetup DPI selection must be skipped because it is inconsistent.
-
The DPI-related menu options do not work properly. Set all the DPI to false in the cfg_commons to avoid inconsistent situations.
-
All the consequences that happened when equipping/unequipping DPI items, such as screen masks or measure tests, no longer work and must be set up again.
